An Oklahoma mother is facing serious consequences after authorities say she allowed her husband to repeatedly š¯“Ŗš¯“«š¯“¾š¯“¼š¯“® her young daughterā€”leading to a pregnancy that ended in a home birth with no medical care.
According to court records, 34-year-old Cherie Walker was convicted on July 17 on six counts of child neglect and one count of enabling child sexual š¯“Ŗš¯“«š¯“¾š¯“¼š¯“®. The case came to light in August 2025 when the 11-year-old victim gave birth at home without any prenatal help. DNA tests later confirmed that the father was her stepfather, Dustin Walker.
Prosecutors allege that Cherie Walker was aware of the š¯“Ŗš¯“«š¯“¾š¯“¼š¯“® and did nothing to stop it. Reports from WCAX and NBC News indicate that when authorities arrived at the home, they found five other childrenā€”all under the age of 9ā€”naked and living in what officials described as deplorable conditions. Those children were removed from the home.
Dustin Walker pleaded guilty to charges of child sexual š¯“Ŗš¯“«š¯“¾š¯“¼š¯“® and neglect in March. He was sentenced to life in prison on June 29, with eligibility for parole after serving 85% of his sentence.
Meanwhile, the victimā€™s grandmother, Michelle Justus, has also been charged with neglect in connection with the case. She is scheduled to go on trial starting July 23, according to reports from KJRH.
