Hayden Daffinson, 35, reportedly assaulted the unnamed victim shortly after she ended their eight-month relationship. On June 22, 2025, he arrived at her home armed with a hatchet, allegedly striking her more than 25 times in a horrific attempt to sexually assault her. According to court documents, the victim suffered severe injuries, including two broken arms and a skull fracture, and required extensive medical treatment.
Witnesses and reports detail a chilling moment during the attack when Daffinson allegedly declared, “(Expletive) it, I’m just going to 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁 you, because I’m going to prison anyway,” after inflicting violence on her. The victim managed to call 911, which ultimately led to his arrest the following day.
Daffinson was apprehended after a high-speed police chase, reportedly reaching speeds of nearly 110 miles per hour. Following his arrest, he faced multiple serious charges. In March, he pleaded guilty to first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree sexual assault, and mayhem, while other charges were dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
