MEMPHIS, Tennessee — A veteran Memphis police officer died following a single-vehicle accident while off duty, the Memphis Police Department confirmed. Officer Daniel Adams was identified as the sole victim in the crash, which occurred on June 18, 2026.
According to department officials, the accident involved only Officer Adams’ vehicle.
